Provitalize Review: Is Provitalize A Scam? My Honest & Critical Review
I first learnt about the product when I came across a positive provitalize review on their Facebook page. Having bought and tested myself for 1 month, I want to share my honest and critical Provitalize review and show you whether it lives up to its weight loss and health claims.
Provitalize is a probiotic supplement that helps you accomplish weight loss and is created by a health company called Better Body Company (their site is BetterBody.Co). And just like you, I was pretty skeptical about its weight loss and health improvement claims. The question ringing in my mind was “Is Provitalize a scam?“.
A disclaimer here is that I am not affiliated to Better Body Co. or Provitalize. I am writing from my own experiences with Provitalize.
Why am I interested in Provitalize?
I’ve pretty much struggled with stubborn fat all my life. Mine may not be the worst case in the world, but it is visibly demoralizing and ruining my life.
And it sucks. Somehow I can just feel it when people stare at me with disgust, thinking I’m some sort of a fat, lazy, ugly and useless burden to society.
It’s not just social issues too. My doctor continually warned me that I’m at risk of high blood pressure, heart diseases, stroke and diabetes if I let my numbers go up.
But I’ve tried what I could. I work a full-time office job and I’m sort of a serial dieter. I cut down on junk food, I start working out, I go on a healthy diet… 2 weeks later, my friend holds a gathering party, my family celebrates Thanksgiving, I attend my colleague’s wedding, where are constantly putting me under social pressure to eat a lot of tasty junk food like cupcakes, pizza and brownies. The lazy, indulgent devil sets in and I lose my healthy living perseverance.
I’ve tried some fat loss pills that simply didn’t work or had too much side effects. So when I see a new product that promotes weight loss, I’d get hyped up.
Realizing the REAL reason for my stubborn fat
As I went through Provitalize’s sales letter, I was introduced to the real reason why we can’t lose weight. Our condition, known as “weight loss resistance”, is mainly caused by 2 mechanisms in our body.
- Brain inflammation due to C Reactive Protein
- Our bodies contain an elevated amount of this inflammatory protein called C Reactive Protein (CRP). This makes our brain more “leaky” (more permeable) to bad bacteria and other toxins. This messes up with our hypothalamus of our brain, which controls our body metabolism. Hence this is why we complain our body has low metabolism!
- Bad bacteria falsely triggering hunger in your brain
- Our gut is more “leaky” and that’s where the bad bacteria passes through into the bloodstream and trigger the hunger signal in our brain. Thus, we’ll always feel hungry even if we’re full.
So why Provitalize? How does it work?
This is where Provitalize hits the nail on its head. Provitalize, a formulated probiotic supplement, targets the REAL reason behind weight loss. It reduces the inflammation from CRP and introduces good bacteria strains that promote weight loss. It also boosts metabolism and improve your immunity.
Can we trust this product?
Firstly from what I’ve checked, all their ingredients have been proven efficacious in clinical trials.
It’s made up of 3 key components: the herbal ingredients, the probiotic strains, and the natural boosters, all being natural or plant-based.
3 Herbal Ingredients that has proven anti-inflammatory and metabolic benefits
- Turmeric Root Extract (active ingredient curcumin)
- Moringa Leaf Extract
- Curry Leaf Extract
I’ve came across other brands selling turmeric capsules or moringa supplements separately for similar health purposes. Provitalize combines the best of these ingredients in their effective dose, all within one convenient capsule, giving you the all the benefits in one go.
3 Probiotic Strains that has proven effects of fat loss and improving gut health
- Lactobacillus Gasseri
- Bifidobacterium Breve
- Bifidobacterium Lactis
2 Natural Boosters that has proven enhancement the effectiveness of active ingredients
- BioPerine® (a unique black pepper piperine extract, important to boost the effectiveness of curcumin)
- Sunflower Lecithin
Secondly, Provitalize is produced in a good-manufacturing-practice certified (GMP certified) facility in the USA. In fact, Better Body Co. is manufacturing it themselves. So in this aspect, they are in full control of the quality of their product and service.
Provitalize Benefits:
-
It brings RESULTS when you live right & eat right
- By eliminating weight loss resistance, Provitalize makes your healthy living efforts productive. Their site mentioned that you can expect to results in around 30 days. This is also the time that I began to see some significant results. I’ll be going through my experience in detail in the next section right below.
-
Provitalize targets the root cause of stubborn fat
- We’ve established that stubborn fat is due to brain inflammation and bad bacteria constantly triggering hunger, and this is EXACTLY what Provitalize is going to work on. Most weight loss supplements in the market treat the symptoms of stubborn fat.
-
They manufacture Provitalize themselves
- Better Body Co. is manufcaturing Provitalize themselves. This is one important point that trumps over many other private-labelled supplements. Being in direct control of the manufacturing process, they can oversee and ensure the quality of their product is effective and safe for our consumption.
-
Special formulation using proven ingredients & clinical studies
- The ingredients have been proven in clinical trials to help with weight loss and anti-inflammation. The mechanism of CRP causing Weight Loss Resistance is also proven via a clinical study on massive scale of 16,616 people in the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
-
Convenient and easy to consume
- The dosing is pretty simple. Take 2 capsules in everyday, preferably in the morning before meals. I do it every morning before going to work. I’ve seen other weight loss supplements that needs to be taken 3 times a day, which I would have forgotten by the time I reach home from work.

-
All natural ingredients, safe for many dietary restrictions
- The product is made entirely out of plant-based ingredients and natural probiotic bacteria. Even the capsule is made of vegetable cellulose. Thus it makes it suitable for vegans, those with allergy to nuts, lactose or gluten.
However, if you’re on medication, you should consult your doctor first. Tell him/her that you want to start taking Provitalize, show him/her the ingredients so he/she can determine if you’re suitable for this, and help you adjust your medications if needed.

-
Ships to your address, worldwide delivery
- Your order gets delivered to your doorstep. Pretty convenient.
-
90 days 100% money back guarantee
- Update: Seems like they have extended their guarantee period from 60 to 90 days, which means more time for us to try.
- Provitalize now has a 90 day money back guarantee. So if at any time in the next 90 days I feel Provitalize is not good for me, I can simply contact them and get a refund. I think it’s a reasonable period for anyone to decide whether to continue with a product.
Cons of Provitalize:
-
Can only be bought online
- You can currently only purchase it through their Better Body website, and they’ll deliver it to you.
-
Your body may need time to adjust
- Like most probiotics, you may experience mild nausea or bloating as your body adjusts to the new bacteria strains in your gut. This is quite normal and you should feel better in a couple of days. But if your symptoms are serious, please stop and seek medical attention immediately.
-
Not a “magic pill”
- It’s our own responsiblity to look after ourselves. Provitalize helps to fix weight loss resistance so that you can lose weight effectively. You have to play your part and commit to a healthy life yourself. Only if you can do that will Provitalize bring you results.
My Personal Experiences
Lost the pounds, feeling much better
I’ve taken Provitalize for a month. Through this period of time, my weight has gone down by 5 pounds. I don’t know how this number feels to you, but this is actually the first time my weight has gone down over the years! It is a significant achievement for me, and it is my first progress I’ve made after years. My old school pants are finally start to fit. On top of that, I’ve been feeling an increase in energy and improvement in my mood overall. Even my friends noted that I appear more lively and seem to look a slimmer on the stomach after taking Provitalize.
Adopting a healthier life, being able to control my appetite
That said, I have been adopting a healthier lifestyle and doing my best to commit to it. I make sure I have leafy greens in my meals every day. I try to do some light to moderate exercise for 30 minutes a day. And it’s been painful, but I had to reject a few events and gatherings to avoid their junk food. But after taking Provitalize, my hunger pangs have reduced and I am able to control my appetite much better now.
Initially, I got tempted several times to go back to an unhealthy diet, but I am lucky to have some good friends and a loving husband who have been fully supportive and keeping me on the right track. In fact, once I started feeling better and more energetic, I knew I wouldn’t want to go back to the fat lazy me anymore.
Better productivity, better life
With better energy, I’ve also been more productive now. I don’t feel as sloppy and exhausted so much anymore. In fact, I can go out with more confidence now. Feeling more energetic and happy, I spend more meaningful time with my family. I treasure my family and my time, so putting myself in a healthier state really helps with my life.
No doubt, I can make more progress, but I am comfortable and happy with my current state right now. Note that I’m working a full-time office job. I’m using whatever little free time I have to look after my health, and being able to make significant progress for the first time with Provitalize means a lot to me.
The Verdict
I am satisfied with Provitalize so far, and will continue consuming it. I will also fulfill my responsibility for my own health, and continue leading a healthy lifestyle. To me, Provitalize is like a key that unlocks weight loss resistance. It gives me a REAL chance to lose my stubborn fat for good, allowing my weight loss efforts to be effective.
If you’re looking for a magic pill that sheds 15 pounds in one day without any work, then you shouldn’t buy Provitalize. Go google for your magic pill and try some bogus pill that puts your health at risk.
But if you’re ready to unlock your weight loss resistance and commit to a healthy life, Provitalize is worth a shot. Perhaps I might even say Provitalize is the best probiotic for weight loss. Maybe it will work for you, maybe it won’t; you’ll never know until you try it. Provitalize is not a a scam.
You can try it risk-free for 90 days and you can get health results, so I’d say you should give it a shot and see how it goes.
PS: I am not associated with Provitalize. This is not a sponsored post; just an honest feedback from a working mother in her 50’s.

Hello, I was about to purchase a product online from Betterbody.co after doing some research on the company. There is a lot of complaint on the web regarding this company about auto-ship and reoccurring charges after one sidle purchase. Their site states that it is a single purchase but when I tried to check out with PayPal the only way to complete the purchase was going to be to agree to reoccurring autoship purchases. To me it is a scam to lure people in believing that they will have a single purchase and the only way to buy anything is to agree to auto ship. There is no phone number on their site, people complain that it is not possible to reach them, well this is not very good business practice. People need to be aware of this.

Hi MB!
I think I know what you’re referring to as I also remember seeing that agreement message when I once bought using PayPal.
I did clarify with the company: It’s a message set by PayPal, and they are unable to edit it. As long as it is a one-time purchase, we would not be charged again.
From my own experience, I have not encountered unexpected charges.
Eventually, I subscribed to their autoship on my own will, so I didn’t have to keep re-ordering and would save more in the long run.
Hope that helps!

Are we really to believe you don’t get paid by the company when you are answering all these questions in defense of issues?

Hey Stacey.
You may have seen in the comments. I was given a small incentive for only my first review, so I believe I’ve been transparent about that.
All my subsequent replies were from my own experiences or opinions. If not, it’s just me searching their help center and doing my research as a consumer.
Your skepticism is understandable, so it’s really up to you to decide.
Have a nice day!

I am interested in trying Provitalize. However, I have a hard time swallowing large pills. I understand it is time released. So, I imagine it wouldn’t be a good idea to put it in a smoothie or something like that. It is hard to tell from the pictures the true size of the pill. Would you be able to describe the size of the pill and if it is difficult to swallow?

Very good question about estrogen blockers. I am 56 yrs old. I had a complete hysterectomy at age 30 and was put on hormone replacement therapy. At age 40, I was diagnosed with estrogen positive breast cancer. I had surgery, radiation, then 7 yrs of Tamoxifen. The idea of the tamoxifen is to block all estrogen. Even though my ovaries are gone, the adrenal glands I believe do produce a bit. So would it be safe for me to take a plant estrogen (tumeric)?

Very interesting! I have got a quick Q though – I realize that most diet pills are just lies or exaggerated, but what would you think about a pills that was developed to enhance other operations in the body that help eliminate excess weight?
I’m wondering because I just learned about the Resurge supplement, and I have found favourable reviews (A lot of the reviews are probably ads, but there is one at SteamSpoils that’s actually truthful and impartial – https://steamspoils.com/supplements/resurge-review/ ). What fascinated me about the pills is that they’re basically a sleep supplement, but proper sleep in and of itself can contribute to weight loss. I feel supplements that choose that sort of indirect strategy make more sense to me.
Best part is that they don’t use any unbelievable claims. Taking a supplement for superior sleep isn’t crazy at all. What do you think? Based mostly on that Steamspoils review I’m extremely close to buying them myself while they’re on sale… interested in your thoughts.
Appreciate it,
– C.J.

I believe that avoiding prepared foods may be the first step to help lose weight. They might taste excellent, but processed foods currently have very little nutritional value, making you take more to have enough vigor to get with the day. If you are constantly taking in these foods, transitioning to cereals and other complex carbohydrates will make you to have more power while having less. Good blog post.

Can you achieve the same effects taking at night verses in the morning, I am on thyroid meds and can not taken along with supplements
healthcriticreport
June 26, 2020 @ 11:00 am
Hey Kathy, since Provitalize uses delayed-release capsules, I believe you can choose to take them in the night or morning. It will slowly release throughout the day so the effect would eventually be the same.
As for thyroid meds, it seems like it’s fine based on their help center article: https://helpcenter.betterbody.co/article/109-is-provitalize-suitable-for-someone-with-thyroid-problems-or-on-thyroid-medications
But I’d say it’s still recommended to consult your doctor!

Hi Susan.
From their website’s FAQ, Provitalize doesn’t contain caffeine or green tea. As for anything similar with diuretic effects, it doesn’t like so to me though I’m not fully sure.

Hi there,
I have seen about Provitalize and would like to try them but before doing so would like to know if it really works. I am 49 and am having all the symptoms mentioned and yes, the stubborn fat which won’t go a way no matter how much exercise or healthy my diet is.
After reading this blog, I guess there is no harm trying as long as their ingredient is healthy .
Will see if it really works.

I’m 46, can’t exercise much due to knee issues, have 5 chronic health conditions, work part time, mum to 2, and have a belly fat issue. I eat well, I eat whatever I want. I’m 172cm and 69kgs. I want to get down to 60kg.

Lucy, I purchased the 3 bottle deal, I started a week ago. So far I have lost 6 lbs. It doesn’t give you the jitters like some pills do. I wouldn’t say it curbs your appetite. If you don’t eat you will be hungry. I’ve really cut down on my carbs, a lot and eat a lot of veggies for snacks and salads. I still have some carbs but only about a 1/4 if that of what I used to eat. I should exercise but honestly I don’t. As for more energy I really haven’t noticed any difference. Today, I wore a shirt that used to be tight on me and it wasn’t, so I will continue to take these till I run out and then decide if I will order more. So far I’m happy with my purchase!

Hello Janet – I am 62 yrs old and have been fighting a 30 lb weight gain from quitting smoking 7 yrs ago. Being in menopause, it is virtually impossible no matter what I do to lose the 30 pounds. I need something that is going to help me get through this other than shear will. I am on a very limited budget being a single income homeowner. Is the purchase of this product on an auto-order delivery program. I do not like those kind of setups as they can get you roped into something that is very hard to stop. If you can advise on this, it would be helpful. I would like to try this product and really appreciate your review but will not get hooked into an auto-order delivery program. Thank you.

When you don’t eat enough, your body actually goes into survival mode and holds on to fat and inflammation. You don’t seem to be giving your body energy it needs just to sustain you. My guess is that is what is happening.

Hi I am from Jervis Bay on the south coast of NSW and I have been taking Provitalize for a month now. At first I felt really off for a couple of weeks and I figure this was my body adjusting to the natural herbs in the tablet.. Then I started to feel really good – I am now at four weeks and have loads of engery something I haven;t had for a few years I am sleeping better my reflux/indisgestion has reduced substantially, my swollen body has all but gone – I just feel normal again and thats a great thing I don’t feel so depressed, for this my family is really thankful and my husband is very happy lol – I haven’t lost any weight as yet and I haven’t put any on but now I seem to have so much more energy that will be the next thing I tackle – I don’t get hot flushes so to speak but I do get a little warm from time to time, there seems to be so many benefits with this little tablet I have just placed my second order… It’s fast becoming a life changer for me… I won’t be going off it anytime soon….

I’ve been on it for over a year and to be honest after finishing my first batch I didn’t re order thinking I can just use a cheaper one, but omg did I make a mistake. As soon as I stopped using it my stomach was always sore again, I was bloated and constipated and my hot flushes were back full on. I will never run out of these products again. I’m confused. I found provitalize and previtalize on a website that made claims they are for menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes. So I was surprised my google search took me to this link related to wright loss. That makes me skeptical, is the company just claiming they are a cure all for everything?

Interesting that you mentioned this. When I first saw their ad, I was curious about its weight loss effects and fortunately, it worked out for me. I’m not menopausal, but I do know one annoying symptom of menopause is weight gain too. So coincidentally, it seems to be gaining traction for controlling menopausal weight gain.
It’s definitely not going to work for everyone, no doubt about that. We’d all have our own experiences with it. I just gave it a try to see if it worked.

I’m not sure if the ingredients in Provitalize would lead to cough. I’d doubt it as they are supposed to be anti-inflammatory in nature. There are many possible contributors to cough, so I’d consider what all the possible factors are.

I definitely wanted to try this but repeat reviews are a big red flag for me. I question why someone would go to great lengths to do a blog on a product that you are not being compensated for at all and then go overboard with answering questions that you could have/should have simply put “please forward all questions to the company itself”. I mean, who has time in a day to sit and answer questions, especially when they have a full time job as you do? Having said that, I did not see anybody else give a review after taking the product but so many said they would. Only you have copied and pasted your update for several who asked. I would love to see the updates to others that said they’d do so…….it makes me wonder if they did and they were negative reviews that never got posted. Sorry, but these “next to perfect” reviews just smell fishy. If my comments get posted, like Mary (whose post was put in twice), and some reviews from others that have been on this product do indeed surface, maybe it’s a legitimate site and a product worth trying.
healthcriticreport
June 12, 2019 @ 6:22 pm
Yes you’re right. To start off, I do have a full-time job just like most of us, so I check back occasionally and try to reply to as many as I can. Like what you said, I definitely don’t have the time to reply all day. 😅
When I first tried Provitalize, I initially wrote my feedback to Better Body Co. I told them that I was seeing small but steady improvements in my weight, my cravings and my energy levels, and that I’d probably buy a few more bottles.
They offered me a small incentive to post my review to help them build some exposure. So here I went!
Undoubtedly, there’s no product that works for everyone. Provitalize won’t work for some of us and I have seen reviews that said things didn’t quite work out. It happens all the time and we move on.
But for those that saw improvements, we continue taking to keep enjoying the benefits.

I was wondering if this helps with balancing hormones. I am 47 and on birth control, but I have been spotting non stop. Thank you.

June 12, 2019 @ 7:15 pm
Hi Dayle, as I’m not a certified healthcare professional, I can’t tell for sure so I’m speculating with what I know. I think it shouldn’t affect your hormones, though I think it can help manage hormonal symptoms like low energy. That’s what I saw on their FAQ too.
Maria
July 26, 2019 @ 8:35 pm
Hi Dayle, you should stop the birth control pills for a month and restart to sort of re-jump start your body to comply with the pills. This happens sometimes. If, after restarting them you’re still spotting throughout the pack, you should get an ultrasound or even a saline ultrasound to rule out polyps/fibroids which both can cause spotting and breakthrough bleeding.

Hey Joann, I’m just speaking from my speculations in theory as I’m not a doctor. Since Humira is an antibody, it’s technically a protein that’s already injected into your bloodstream and reacts very specifically with its antigen.
So I believe the ingredients in Provitalize wouldn’t affect Humira’s effects. But you should confirm with your doctor as I’m not certified to advise!

healthcriticreport
April 14, 2019 @ 6:35 pm
Hi Sharon! I’m no doctor so I’m probably not the best person to advise, but I’ll try to comment with whatever I know.
I did see a couple of Provitalize reviews saying that it improved their thyroid symptoms like feeling more energetic overall, so it should be okay to take with thyroid-related supplements including Ashwagandha.
Collagen supplement should be fine as well, since it’s mainly hydrolyzed protein and I don’t see how probiotics and anti-inflammatory herbs would affect it.
I would recommend talking to a healthcare professional still. Hope your body’s doing good!

Thank you for answering. I do have another question well 2. I have bloating problems when I eat certain fruits and vegetables even when I drink a glass of water. So when I’m really thirsty I can’t drink lots of water. Does probiotics help with this kind of bloating and would Provitalize? I have been drinking baking soda water to help with the bloating it usually makes me burp to relieve the gas I guess.
Also it is ok to order from the Provitalize website online? I have problems ordering from places like this.
healthcriticreport
April 19, 2019 @ 2:31 am
Hey Sharon!
I remember seeing some reviewers mentioning that Provitalize helped reduced their bloating, and it is true that there are studies that show that probiotics can help reduce the production of intestinal to help with bloating.
But it’s hard to say though, because for some people, probiotics worsen their bloating as their body reacts negatively to them instead.
Every individual is different, so we can pretty much only try it to find out!
As for ordering from the Provitalize website, I think it’s ok to order from them. After all, I’ve been ordering from their website for several months already and haven’t had any payment/security issues.

Hi Marla!
From what I understand about Provitalize… The probiotics could “turn on” your metabolism which burns off bad cholesterol, while the anti-inflammatory effects stops your body’s “fat-storing hormones” and control your cravings. So in that sense, you can keep the good effects of your healthy fats.
This is just my own speculation though. It’s best to check with your healthcare provider first if you can!

I was in the process of deleting some of my junk emails and saw the newsletter from Provitalize. After more than an hour’s worth of researching the product, reading reviews etc, I am encouraged. I like some of you have been battling with my weight, on top of a hypothyroid issue. It’s like “beating a dead horse”…..despite my conscious effort to eat right, exercise (6days a wk), drink water etc. I have lost only 2 lbs since March this year when I started a doctor-supervised weight loss program …..which includes B12 injections,
other supplements, low sugar/low carb products and trying to regulate my thyroid medication doses. I feel like I am at my rope’s end, ready to throw in the towel and accept that I will never lose weight.
However with the information I have obtained from the company’s site as well as the reviews I will be ordering this product and hope that within a month I too will be sharing a post of success due to Provitalize.

I currently take Align which was recommended by my gastrointestinal doctor. I was diagnosed with h- pylori after months of gut issues. After 2 rounds of antibiotics my gut was worse off. A year later they tested and treated for SIBO and retested for h- pylori. Thank God both tests came back negative. My gut is still not happy. I’ve stopped omelprazole because it makes my symptoms worse. After 3 days off this medication my stomach seems better. I am looking for a new probiotic that will help with inflammation since I take synthroid. I used to take a daily dose or two of ibrophen and refuse to take it anymore for headaches, hand and neck pain, knee aches. I need something natural to help me deal with this. I lost weight after my antibiotic treatment which might mean that any bacteria is gone. I’m ordering this and I will post a followup after a month. I’m 69, 5’2, 137 lbs, Hispanic woman.

I totally get you. They tend to downplay supplements and want you to solely rely on their medication. But supplements can really be helpful!
From what I read online, Celebrex is very targeted towards some Cox-2 enzyme so I guess the interaction with other anti-inflammatories would be minimal. I’m no doctor and I’d say our bodies all react differently. If you’re feeling fine and you can live your life well, you probably are!

Re: Leaky gut, wouldn’t your body be in sepsis shock due to all the food going into the bloodstream.? I have tried so many different probiotics, but nothing seems to make me lose weight or make a difference. I hardly eat enough now, and I cannot lose belly fat weight or anywhere else
healthcriticreport
April 10, 2018 @ 3:56 pm
Hi. Janet to Janet!
Sepsis is more of an acute self-damaging condition when the body responds to an infection. The weight loss resistance concept presented by the Provitalize company is that your body suffers chronic low levels of systemic inflammation, so it’s more like low levels of toxins entering your body in the long term, but not serious enough to be considered sepsis.
Most other probiotics do not target specifically at weight loss. And it’s not just about eating less. It’s more about eating less refined sugar food like donuts, and eating more healthy stuff like wholemeal bread & leafy vegetables. You still need the energy to help you burn the fats off. And taking a weight loss supplement that improve your body’s weight loss mechanism could be helpful to get your results.

Last night I read and reread all of the information on this product… so this morning I googled it, to see what others said about it… pros or a scam. I am encouraged. I am 74 and having a really hard time here. My goal is 30 lbs. I am a carb addict. I have been on the Atkins diet… and I know my problem! I think I am eating too much of the food allowed! I’m not measuring! Start out great and then slip. And instead of One Atkins chocolate bar? Well why not two! I need a support group. My husband is very supportive… BUT… like the other day we had been working in the barn… he says he is craving pizza… would I eat a piece if he ordered one? Well, yeah! That messed me up for two days! So I need to keep Atkins pizza in the freezer all the time. I would have been good with that… but didn’t have one so ate that REAL pizza! I need help for sure. Thank you for your post… maybe I can come back and read this everyday… may☹️

Patricia, I feel your pain-I couldn’t turn down pizza either, and I’m going out with friends tonight for mexican and margaritas! It’s a constant struggle right? I’m trying to decide whether to try this or whether it’s just another supplement. I’ve got fibromyalgia and thyroid issues….. I’ve done the tumeric, and regular probiotics so I don’t know if this one is anything special. Let’s talk? Wonder if we can share emails on here!

Though I believe it’s fine to take with thyroid medications like levothyroxine, your doctor is definitely the best adviser for this! Results vary on individuals, so I can’t tell.

I read about Provitalize and was wondering if it would safe for me. I have MS, I am not overweight, I take turmeric supplements and probiotics because I have inflammation in my stomach and frequent UTI’s.
Is this product only for people that are trying to lose weight?
healthcriticreport
March 28, 2018 @ 11:58 am
Hi Mary.
What I understand is Provitalize is not just for people who want to lose weight. It makes your body work correctly.
The anti-inflammatory ingredients could help with your stomach inflammation. And as you mentioned you have frequent UTIs, you may often be on antibiotics which will destroy your good bacteria. So technically, the probiotics in Provitalize can help restore your gut balance after your antibiotic course ends.
It’s likely safe for you with multiple sclerosis, but I don’t know if it will interact with your medications. It’s best to let your doctor know and decide.

I read on your site that all the ingredients were sourced in the US.I am not aware of turmeric being grown in the US. Where is it produced?

That’s a good question. I don’t know myself; I only know turmeric is commonly grown in India. Perhaps they imported it and processed it in the US?
It’ll be better to ask Better Body Co directly.

This sounds really great and makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s all to familiar. I just sent the company an email, need to find out if there is any type of stimulant in this product. I’m hoping there isn’t.

I would love to try this and hope it works. Once turning 42 my weight started creeping up and I can’t make it go backwards. I have had a healthy balanced diet for many years and I religiously exercise doing cardio and weights 5 times a week. I am desperate to find something to help my very slow metabolism. I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis which isn’t helping my battle. My goal is to lose 15 pounds.

I am 58 years old and an on my third low carb “diet”. For me, carbs, even “good” carbs, are my enemy and keep me from loosing weight. I have tried expensive shake and supplement based “diet lifestyles” that are packed with “good” carbs and proteins with no results. So back to the low carb diet for me. I am still loosing, more slowly than when I was younger, and drinking alot of water and exercising which I”ve always done. I think I’m going to try this Proactive supplement. It can only help. If it doesn’t, I’ve learned a $67 lesson. I hope you are doing well on your diet.

Hello Ruth.
The company had posted some reviews on their product page, and some customers posted on their Facebook group telling you what they are experiencing. Some of them lost much more weight that I did, even up to 22 pounds. And there were some that did not experience changes, so individual body response vary.
For me I’m satisfied with the fact that I’m even making progress… for the first time in so many years.
If you’re on long-term medications, make sure you let your doctor know that you’re taking Provitalize so he/she can adjust your medications.

From I read, Provitalize does not need to be refrigerated. Its probiotic strains can survive in room temperatures.

Thank you so much your review…, I am interested in this product, but I have a hypothyroidism which has me constantly constipated…, will this product aggravate my constipation worse??? I have tried so many probiotics in the past and had to quit because of this issue…, thank you in advance for you kind reply.

February 19, 2018 @ 1:41 am
Hi Michelle.
It must be tiring to deal with hypothyroidism, thank you for expressing your thoughts. From what I can tell, the ingredients in Provitalize helps to fight inflammation in your brain. This helps your brain to better control your body’s metabolism. So in theory, your gut can work better and it could actually improve your constipation.
It’s impossible to tell whether Provitalize works for you though. Individuals vary and you need to try it yourself. If you are on long-term medications such as levothyroxine, you must inform your doctor that you want to try out Provitalize so that your medications are adjusted.
Also, be sure to do your part on living a healthy life. Eat your fibre, get some exercise and drink more water. Hope your condition improves!

@Michelleo Seo – Get Source Naturals Magnesium Malate and take 2-3 per evening and you will be all fixed up. I also recommend getting some DE, Diatomaceous Earth -Food Grade; a heaping TBS per day in liquid (water or whatever you like) will clean your gut very calmly, painlessly, sweetly and your colon, lower GI will thank you. I take DE and Mg. Malate daily…..never have soreness, aches, pains, etc. The DE is chalky, that’s all, even my kids take it after a work out and that with the Mg. alleviates all aches and pains, it works so well!

Hi Michelleo,
I saw your post and thought I would throw in my two cents. I just ordered this product so I can’t tell you if it works on your problem. But I have the same problem and I use a product called NATURAL CALM which is a powdered magnesium product. It comes in many flavors. I use the Sweet Lemon flavor. I add it to warm water and drink it before bed and it works gently the next day. I have usd it for years. Swanson’s Vitamin website carries it half price. I hope this helps you. My chiropractor turned me on to it.

Their store is encrypted with SSL [https://], so their transactions are pretty much protected. They accept Paypal & common credit card choices like Visa, Mastercard and Amex, though they currently do not accept Paypal for their autoship option.
My purchase was done through my Visa credit card, so I’m not too sure why you’re facing such an issue… Maybe you should contact their support as they can better help you.

I am wondering how much this product helps with the issue of inflammation? I have taken fermented vegetables that have greatly improved my digestive tract but still struggle with inflammation and severe headaches when I try to detox. I have been told I can’t detox because my body cannot handle it. The approach to the brain really interests me! I have struggle with headaches that last for WEEKS at a time and if this helps with both inflammation and the headaches it would be wonderful
healthcriticreport
February 18, 2018 @ 3:02 am
Hi Colleen.
Based on the mechanism on Provitalize sales letter, it definitely targets your inflammation. I am not sure if it will help your headaches, because there are too many possible underlying causes for headaches (eg. migraines, anxiety, lack of sleep).
Since detox isn’t working for you, I think it’s worth a shot targeting inflammation with Provitalize together with healthy living. Make sure you get some workouts as well.
But if your headaches persist after taking Provitalize for a few weeks, you should consult a medical professional.

I also struggled with migraines and sort of sick headaches since I was 12. I happened to go to a chiropractor who uses muscle strength testing for adjustments. When I had the sick headaches I felt like my Atlas bone was out in the back of my neck. It turned out that was correct. The chiropractor discovered I was allergic to lettuce and let it somehow would weaken my Atlas bone and it would need to be adjusted. I stopped eating lettuce and first week of September then I went on a cruise and I was in Europe for 15 days and didn’t have one headache haven’t had any headaches even with the weather changing. I’m also looking for a good probiotic

Janet thank you for your honest review. Reading the article made so much sense. I have fought my weight my whole adult life and in 2016 lost 65 lbs. but 2017 was filled with stress and a mystery rash. I regained about 50 lbs. I do exercise using weights, Zumba & treadmill and have seen little progress. My diet is mindful.

After you purchase, you will see that the charge comes from a country named Singapore (not China), which is working fine for me so far.
I did contact BetterBody on this and they’ve explained it to me.
The reason why you saw the charge coming from a Singapore business is simply because they’re working with a Singapore-based marketing agency to boost their digital marketing efforts. Hence, payments made to them are processed by their payment platform in Singapore.
They mentioned that as per stated on their site, their supplements are 100% sourced, produced and packaged in the US under strict quality standards, which they will never compromise.
Their raw ingredients are completely sourced from America, sent to their manufacturing facility in Newnan, Georgia where it’s blended, encapsulated and packaged then shipped to their fulfillment center in Savannah, Georgia. From there it goes straight out to their customers.
They’re only working with the Singapore business on their online marketing needs.
So far, my transactions with them have been smooth. As long as I do not see fraud charges in my statements, I’m ultimately more interested in the product and its effectiveness.

What meds should I be concerned about this interacting with
healthcriticreport

What I can think of are NSAIDs, steroids, blood-thinners and antibiotics. These medication effects appear to be in direct conflict with Provitalize ingredients’ functions.
There’re probably more interactions that I’m unaware of. It’s best to let a doctor advise. But otherwise, the ingredients generally seem pretty safe.

I just ordered this product. After spending 50 of my years with no concern for large weight gains, after contracting Lymes not once but 3 times..each episode left my body a bit heavier, I now struggle with my weight terribly. I have gained over the past 7 years 50 lbs. My body screams help. So I am hoping that this probiotic will be a kick start to the weight coming off, and restoring the good balance in my body.
Their ad made sense to me, as I currently take cur cumin and turmeric for my acid reflux. So we will see by eliminating this supplement and adding probiotics maybe this is the answer. Keeping my fingers cross, my delivery is arriving on Monday so I will write in a month and see how this is going. Fingers crossed and prayers lifted up.

I’ve remained on Provitalize and I’m steadily progressing each month. My weight goes down by around 2 to 6 pounds each month, and I’m still keeping up with my healthy lifestyle.
Recently, I started taking their new prebiotic too, which they call it Previtalize. It seems to be helping me sleep better for a start. I will post my review after taking for a longer while.
